2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. James 1:2-7
Ever since I’ve read this passage it’s resonated with me. At the core, it’s one of the very few that I go back to, and back to. I just connect with it.
We have to consider it and park our minds on the truth that our triumph in this trail matters. Triumph in this choice will produce a blessing. According to Jame, the blessing we have to consider is this: “that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything” (James 1:4)
Oh, sister, isn’t this the heart of what we seek in our lives? I want to be mature and complete, not lacking.

It’s important, I think, to have a passage, a motto, a saying, a mantra that you can go back to. One that re-focuses and reminds you that you’re human and you’re gonna be ok.
Do you have one?
